Welcome to my musings. They will be diverse, ranging from the mundane to the esoteric. You may encounter random thoughts or observations on myriad subjects. My goal in writing here is sometimes to inform you, sometimes to help you through a shared personal issue or challenge, and sometimes to encourage you to view something from a new perspective. If something I write provokes you, it is not done so to offend. My intention is always and only to offer something that I hope will be of value to you, dear reader.
These musings proceed from my educational and professional background as well as from decades of real world experience. Educated at Harvard with an undergraduate degree as well as an MBA, my comments regarding economics are in part informed by my undergraduate concentration in that discipline. Forty years working in healthcare services provides some insight into business management as well as into our healthcare system. A spiritual journey that began in 1999 inspires my sharing the most meaningful lessons I've learned and live to this day.
You are important to me. Your thoughts are important to me. I look forward to your comments, criticisms, and suggestions. I can't promise to respond to everyone, but I will do my best to do so. I welcome suggestions for topics that I can address in my blogs. I invite you to become part of an ongoing exchange: you will undoubtedly teach me more than I can teach you.
I am grateful that you have found my website and have taken the time to read this far. My wish is that you find something of value in my musings: something that will make you smile, something that will make you think of things in a new light, something that will help you through your day and the challenges you might be facing.
Disclaimer: I am not a therapist nor am I a trained counselor. I am not a certified financial planner. I do not give personal or financial advice. My sharing things that have helped me through difficult periods in my life are just that: things that have worked for me but may not work for everyone. My observations on the economy and/or markets are personal opinions only. Seek professional advice from professionals when you need it. Never be afraid to ask for help when you need it, but ask for help from those who are most qualified to provide it.
